TKN Prabowo-Gibran Consider Megawati's Speech As A Advice, Alluding To The News Of The Integrity Pact

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Habiburokhman considers the speech of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri who alluded to the current authorities such as the ruler of the New Order (Orba) as an advisor.

"We really respect Megawati's mother and we positively welcome the speech. In general, that is her advice as a national figure to all of us," Habiburokhman told reporters, Tuesday, November 28.

The deputy governor of Gerindra tried to capture Megawati's message. According to him, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia reminded that anyone who is in power does not act arbitrarily and does not use power for the political interests of his group.

Habiburokhman then mentioned the various practices of election fraud which were recently crowded. As suspected, there was an integrity pact between the Sorong Regent and the Head of BIN Papua to win Ganjar Pranowo.

"Recently, many residents have questioned the issue of the regent's integrity pact in Sorong, the alleged neutrality of the Cilacap regent with the red Kancing program, the alleged regent's neutrality in Majalengka and many more," he said.

The member of the DPR for the East Jakarta electoral district assessed that political power is a mandate from the people that must be achieved in an honorable way.

"Don't be afraid of losing power or afraid that we will no longer have power, we will do things that violate democratic principles," said Habiburokhman.

Previously, PDIP General Chair (Ketum) Megawati Soekarnoputri admitted that she was annoyed by the current attitude of the authorities who she considered wanted to act like the ruler during the New Order era.

This was conveyed by Megawati while attending the Ganjar-Mahfud Volunteer National Coordination Meeting which was attended by leaders of supporting volunteer organs throughout Java Island at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta, Monday, November 27.

"Mother shouldn't be able to say that but I'm annoyed. Because this republic is full of sacrifices, you don't know. Why now are you people who want to act like during the New Order era?" Megawati said.

Megawati then invited the Indonesian people not to be afraid of cheating that might occur in the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres).

"We are the people of Indonesia, the police as well as the people of Indonesia, the people's soldiers of Indonesia, the apparatus as well as the people of Indonesia. Is it true? Therefore, don't be afraid," said Megawati.

Megawati also reminded that basically reform is to limit power. As an amendment, the regulation should be sufficient to be followed, and should not be violated.

"The rules of mbok are followed, don't violate them. If they are really imitated later, it turns out that you are also thieves, wow, it's serious," said Mega.
