Tickets For The Train For The 2023 Christmas Holiday And 2024 New Year Periods Have Been Sold For 488 Thousand

Purchase of train tickets for the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays has been opened (doc. KAI).

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api (Persero) or KAI noted that 488,238 long-distance train tickets had been sold for the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year (Nataru) transportation periods.

This figure is also 23 percent of the total tickets provided. Meanwhile, KAI stipulates that Christmas and New Year's (Nataru) transportation will take place from December 21, 2023 to January 7, 2024.

"The number of tickets sold will continue to increase considering ticket sales are still ongoing," said KAI's VP of Public Relations, Joni Martinus, when contacted by VOI on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Joni said that during the 2024 Nataru transportation period, KAI had only opened 3,888 regular long-distance train trips with 2.2 million seats available. Then, there were 1,296 trips on regular local trains with around 501,000 seats.

Therefore, Joni said that people can buy regular long-distance train tickets that are available in the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, minimarkets, and all train ticket purchase channels starting from H-45.

Ticket purchases at the station counters are only available for train departures starting 3 hours or going show.

"People can immediately book tickets because the Nataru River train tickets are still quite widely available," he said.

Joni further said that the trains that have become favorites for Nataru transportation so far include the Pasarsenen-Purwosari (PP), Airlangga Train, Pasarsenen-Surabaya Pasarturi (PP) connection, and the Kahuripan train for Kiaracondong-Blitar (PP) relations.

"KA Sri Tanjung's relationship between Lempuyangan-Ketapang (PP) and several other trains has begun to be hunted for tickets," he said.
