Gibran Consolidates Winning The Presidential Election In Makassar

The candidate for Vice President Gibran Rakabumimg Raka attended the consolidation of winning with the National Winning Team (TPN) and the Regional Winning Team (TPD) to face the 2024 General Election.

"So, we are still working hard to keep the victory wide. And I am sure that with the enthusiasm of our friends in Makassar, we are confident that we can win," said Gibran when delivering his remarks at the consolidation of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) party at the Claro Hotel Makassar, South Sulawesi, reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 24.

The pair of presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto stated that they did not mention any taglines. However, Gibran emphasized that the entire team will continue to maintain enthusiasm and be consistent in the Pilleg contestation which will be held in the near future.

"So, my ladies and gentlemen, always echo the spirit of sustainability, improvement, and so there is nothing new, there is no change either. I am sure that what has been going on now we must continue, consistency, once again consistency is key," said President Joko Widodo's eldest son encouragingly.

Regarding his current position representing young people running as candidates for Vice President, Gibran stated that there was no problem. Because, he dared to appear as a representative of millennials.

"Yes, if you are already in this position representing young people, all of them represent all, (including) women," said the Mayor of Solo.

Regarding the hectic attacks on him on social media by netizens, Gibran explained that he did not respond too much to this matter and emphasized more to the team to remain calm.

"I have advised all my friends who are active on social media, that currently there are many attacks, satires, cynicism. I beg all of you not to reply, let's just let it go, don't respond," he explained.

"The broadcast should not be answered by cynicism. We will continue to focus on hard work, focus on consolidation, we focus on socialization, door to door. What is clear is that slander should not be met with slander. Let's just ignore it, if there is a bad survey, we will work hard, if the survey is good, keep working hard," he added.

Chairman of the South Sulawesi Gerindra Party DPD Andi Iwan Darmawan Aras said the people who attended this event were the main engine to win the Prabowo-Gibran Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates in the South Sulawesi Province.

He is even optimistic that the Prabowo-Gibran candidate pair can win 60 percent in South Sulawesi.

The same thing was conveyed by Deputy Chairperson of TKN Erwin Aksa, who in the 2018 presidential election, Prabowo Subianto won a 60 percent vote in South Sulawesi, so that his party is optimistic that the Prabowo-Gibran candidate pair can return to the 60 percent vote in the 2024 presidential election.

"Mas Gibran is calm, we are here," said the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP in front of hundreds of people crowding the hotel.

The consolidation was also attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Nurdin Halid, Chairman of the South Sulawesi PAN DPW Ashabul Kahfi, South Sulawesi Democratic Chair Ni'matullah Erbe. In addition, Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution and Former South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, as well as all TPD and cadres and candidates for all KIM parties throughout South Sulawesi.
