4 Police Allegedly Persecuted Residents In Ambon Arrested

The General Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dirreskrimum) of the Maluku Police is still investigating the case of mistreatment of the residents of Batu Merah, Ambon City, which was allegedly carried out by the police.

The Maluku Regional Police have arrested four police officers suspected of being involved in the persecution of one of the residents of Batu Merah, Ambon City.

"They are also being processed by general crimes which will be handled by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Maluku Police," said Roem.

The Maluku Police Chief Inspector General Lotharia Latif regretted the violence. The reason is, on various occasions, the Kapolda often reminds every member not to hurt people's hearts.
