Jokowi: Millennials And Z Candidates For Future Leaders

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo said that the millennial generation and generation Z are future leaders who can provide colors and jumps towards advanced Indonesia.

"Generation of millennials and Generation Z is a candidate for future leaders, who can give colors and jumps towards advanced advanced Indonesia that is advanced," said President Joko Widodo in his virtual remarks at the Indonesia Millennial and Gen-Z Summit 2023 event held by the IDN Times in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 24.

Jokowi said that in 2030 Indonesia will enjoy the peak of the demographic bonus with 68 percent of the population at productive age, where the millennial generation and generation Z have a large composition and emerge as new, dynamic and very influential forces in determining the nation's future.

He hopes that all millennials and Generation Z can prepare themselves as well as possible by increasing capacity, increasing expertise, and increasing the mentality of fighters who love the country, who do not give up easily, and have noble character to be ready to fill new opportunities to become part of global talents and build a better future.

"I also appreciate the holding of the Indonesia Millennial and Gen-Z Summit 2023 because it can be a forum to enrich insight, expand networks, and produce future leaders who can contribute to Indonesia's progress," said the President.
