Arrest 4 BRILink Robbers On The West Coast, Police Are Still Looking For Other Suspects

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Regional Police (Polda) continue to investigate other perpetrators, after successfully arresting four perpetrators of BRILink robbery in West Coast Regency.

"The police continue to carry out a deeper investigation into the robbery case," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Umi Fadilah Astutik, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 21.

According to him, of the four perpetrators who have been arrested by the police, in Pesawaran Regency, and possibly in the BRILink robbery case on the West Coast, there are other perpetrators.

"So indeed in this case it is possible that there are other perpetrators, so we are still continuing to investigate," he said.

In an effort to arrest the robbers, officers were forced to paralyze them with gunfire because the perpetrators resisted when they were about to be arrested in Pesawaran.

"Four perpetrators of BRILink robbery on the West Coast who were arrested with the initials D, A, M, and R. The perpetrators resisted until the police were involved in a shootout with the gang," he said again.

In their action, the perpetrators carried out a robbery in two places in West Coast Regency, namely BRILink by taking the victim's money of Rp. 500 thousand, and in the second place in the Bengkunat area, with robbers stealing Rp. 5 million.

The perpetrators carried out their actions using the modus operandi of pretending to be shopping for noodles, but after BRILink officers took orders, the robbers saw the drawer and took IDR 5 million.

"So in an effort to arrest the robbers, the officers deployed included the Criminal Investigation Unit Opsnal Team, a team of 10 police officers, and personnel from Brimob one team," he said.
