JAKARTA - DPR Speaker Puan Maharani said the agenda of the DPR Plenary Meeting was related to the ratification of the proposal of the TNI commander to replace TNI Admiral Yudo Margonoakna to be held Tuesday (21/11), tomorrow.
"God willing, tomorrow, because Mr. Yudo will end his tenure," said Puan Maharani at a press conference at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.
According to the provisions, continued Puan, the determination of the new TNI commander must be carried out before Yudo Margono enters retirement. Yudo retired on November 26, according to his birth date.
"With his birthday (Yudo), which will fall on the 26th (November); so before he enters retirement, there will soon be a replacement for the name of the candidate for TNI commander," explained Puan.
Yudo Margono was born on November 26, 1965 and has served as TNI commander since December 19, 2022.
"So, God willing, tomorrow the DPR RI will hold a plenary session regarding the TNI commander to determine or approve the proposal from the president regarding the replacement of the upcoming TNI commander," said Puan.
