JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the Acting Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Gita Ariadi to fulfill his summons as a witness today, Monday, November 20. He was reminded to cooperate as a witness to the alleged corruption that ensnared the inactive Bima Mayor Muhammad Lutfi.
"We hope that the witness will be cooperative in attending according to the specified schedule," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters quoted on Monday, November 20.

Meanwhile, Gita ensured that she would fulfill the KPK's summons in the case that ensnared M. Lutfi. Head of the Legal Bureau of the NTB Provincial Secretariat Lalu Rudi Gunawan has conveyed his certainty of presence.
"That's right, the Acting Governor of NTB was summoned by the KPK. The Acting Governor will cooperate in fulfilling the summons of the KPK as a witness," said Rudi as quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 19.
Gita Ariadi is said to support all legal steps taken by the KPK or other law enforcement officers in eradicating corruption.
As previously reported, Lutfi has been detained at the KPK detention center. He is a suspect in alleged corruption in the procurement of goods and services in the Bima City Government.
He is suspected of disclosing the project that the Bima City Government will work on with his family. The trick, he initially asked for documents from a number of projects at the Bima City Government Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) and Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).
