BANDUNG - Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) has not been able to confirm that the suspected jockey with the initials RT (20), in the selection of prospective civil servants (CPNS) at the prosecutor's office in Lampung, is the campus student.
Head of the ITB Communication and Public Relations Bureau Naomi Haswanto emphasized that whatever the perpetrator's actions did not reflect the institution where he belongs.
"We just found out about this news and regret it. Whoever is concerned, whether ITB students or not, this action is not a reflection of the institution," said Naomi, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 16.
Naomi admitted that until now her party had not received any information from the police regarding the full name of the student, majoring, and the semester in which the party was concerned.
However, ITB will study the case and wait for the ongoing legal process to determine the next steps.
"If it has been determined and found guilty, then ITB will process it according to academic regulations at ITB," he added.
Previously, the Lampung Police arrested a participant in the prosecutor's CPNS test in Bandarlampung who was suspected of being a jockey. The police revealed that the jockey was an ITB student.
The perpetrator falsified the identity of the CPNS test participant in the prosecutor's office and has been modified. The perpetrator modified the identity of the original CPNS test participant.
RT was arrested while recording his face at the Graha Achava Building, Bandar Lampung Street, Monday (13/11).

The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Umi Fadillah, said the jockey was a young woman with the initials RDS alias RT who was 20 years old.
"The identity of the perpetrator is a resident of Bandar Lampung, an ITB student," said Umi in Bandarlampung, Lampung, Wednesday (15/11).
The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Lampung Police is still investigating the direction where RDS is studying at ITB. The police are also still investigating the profits obtained by RDS by becoming a CPNS test jockey.
Based on the results of the examination, the modus operandi of the perpetrators to become CPNS test jockeys is to use a modified fake identity to match the original test participants.
Related to this, the police also suspect that there are allegations of other perpetrators who are part of the CPNS test jockey action.
