West Jakarta Fire Department Evacuates The Foot Of An Iron Pinched Boy In A Water Channel In Cengkareng

JAKARTA - A boy cried in pain when his right leg was pinched by an iron culling covering the water channel on Jalan Rumah Susun, RT 22/16, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta.

Although they had tried to get their legs out independently, but to no avail. Residents also reported the incident to the West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. for a request for an evacuation process.

"The evacuation lasted briefly, about 5 minutes," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syafrudin, Thursday, November 16.

The incident began when the victim was playing around the scene.

"Incidentally, the legs enter between the iron covers of the waterways and cannot be removed," he said.

Officers deployed a rescue team to evacuate the leg of the poor boy.

"The evacuation of the child's legs caught between iron and iron was successfully carried out by 3 rescue personnel. Handling was successful," he said.
