Kabaharkam Says News About Police Helping Install PSI Billboards Has Not Been Confirmed

Head of the National Police's Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam) Komjen Fadil Imran said the news about police officers helping to install billboards of one of the parties could not be confirmed at this time. This statement was made by Fadil in response to questions about the neutrality of the National Police in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu), including police officers involved in the installation of PSI billboards in West Java. "Then, regarding the installation of certain party billboards assisted by the police. We just checked with the West Java Police Chief, the information could not be clarified yet," said Fadil in a working meeting with Commission III of the DPR, Wednesday, November 15. However, if there are people who know and have evidence regarding the installation of the billboards, Fadil asks to be reported immediately. So, it can be followed up. The former Metro Jaya Police Chief also emphasized that the matter would be handled in accordance with applicable regulations.

"Later, if there is, I think we will pay attention to the ecosystem and reporting mechanisms related to this," said Fadil.
