BOGOR - Chairman of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Bogor City, West Java Atang Trisnanto explained the support of regional regulations (Perda) regarding the Prevention and Control of Sexual Deviance Behavior (P4S) on the matter.
"The P4S regional regulation was made for referrals to prevent and deal with the problem of sexual deviation in the community. In it there is also a matter of rehabilitation," he said Tuesday, November 15.
Atang explained that this regional regulation contains the substance of socialization and education to the public about the dangers of transmitting sexual behavior irregularities.
On the other hand, the government also provides rehabilitation instruments and empowerment of positive activities for residents to behave sexually and deviate.
He hopes that Bogor City will not become a favorite area for perpetrators of sexual irregularities to gather.
According to Atang, the Bogor City Government's intervention through the P4S Regional Regulation which has been ratified with the local DPRD can be a means to prevent these problems from becoming very important, especially the threat of spreading cases of sexual deviation.
He has also conveyed a message of preventing irregularities in sexual behavior as well as socializing P4S regional regulations to students throughout the city of Bogor in the activities of the Bogor City Population and Family Control Office (DPPKB), at a local hotel.
In order to minimize the transmission of sexual deviation, Atang told students that teenagers must be filled with positive activities that provide good nutrition for the growth and development of teenagers.
"The key to the success of today's youth is to increase positive activities, continue to spread kindness, and together build positive friendship. Everything is wrapped in faith in God Almighty," he said.
With the vision of Bogor City as a family-friendly city, the Bogor City DPRD together with the Bogor City Government have prepared various policies, one of which is the P4S Regional Regulation (Perda).
