Bobby Nasution Says Thank You To PDI Perjuangan

The Mayor of Medan, North Sumatra, Bobby Nasution thanked the PDI-P for receiving a notification letter Number: 217/IN/DPC-29.B-26.B/XI/2023 dated November 10, 2023.

"Thank you to the PDI-P who to this day also supports me in the Medan City Government," said Bobby after attending a plenary meeting at the Medan City DPRD office as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 14.

Bobby emphasized that his party received a letter from the Medan City PDI-P DPC which carried him with Aulia Rachman to become the pair of Medan Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Medan in the 2020 Simultaneous Pilkada in Medan (13/11).

The letter was signed by the Chairperson of the Medan City PDI-P DPC along with Secretary Robi Barus with a copy of the PDI-P DPP and the PDI-P DPD of North Sumatra Province.

There are nine points in the contents of the letter, including the PDI-P DPP letter Number: 5640/IN/DPP/X/2023 dated October 19, 2023 regarding instructions and assignments to win the presidential/vice presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md who is promoted by the PDI-P.

Then media documentation attended the declaration of the presidential/vice-presidential candidate pair from the Indonesia Maju Coalition Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

Finally, the PDI-P DPP letter Number: 5675/IN/DPP/XI/2023 dated November 4, 2023 regarding the invitation to clarify Bobby Nasution for the support of the prospective presidential/vice-presidential candidate pair from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

The results of Bobby Nasution's clarification, who is a party cadre at the PDI-P DPP, Jakarta, Monday (6/11), stated that he gave a three-day deadline to resign, and return the PDI-P membership card (KTA).

However, until the specified time limit, Bobby Nasution did not submit a letter of resignation or return the PDI-P KTA to the Medan City PDI-P DPC.

"Hopefully in the future it will continue to'support' for the community, for the benefit of the community, the interests are greater than their respective interests," said Bobby.

The chairman of the Medan City PDI-P DPC Hasyim stated that Bobby Nasution, who is the Mayor of Medan, no longer meets the requirements as a member of the PDI-P.

"That, the letter is clear. We will propose it later. We propose to be dismissed (Bobby Nasution, ed)," said Hasyim.
