Help Friends Can't Swim In Tandons Ciater, 22-year-old Teenager Even Drowns

TANGERANG A teenage boy named Ruslan Fiki (22) was found dead in Tandon Ciater, Serpong, South Tangerang (Tangsel). It is suspected that the victim died from drowning while swimming with two of his friends.

The Commander of the South Tangerang City BPBD Task Force, Dian Wiryawan, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, November 12.

"This victim tried to save his friend who drowned," said Dian when confirmed, Monday, November 13.

The incident began with Ruslan and his friends wanting to swim in the Tandon Ciater. At that time Ruslan who first invited to swim, because he suspected that the water in the reservoir was not so deep.

Then his friend named Martin got into the tandon. But at that time Martin could not swim. Seeing his friend in danger, Ruslan tried to save the little boy.

"But in the end the victim drowned too," he said

Local residents who saw two people drowning tried to help. Ruslan when evacuated to the mainland was dead. His body was immediately taken to the Tangerang Hospital. Meanwhile, Martin's condition, who drowned first, survived.

"Now being treated at the Rawa Buntu Health Center," he concluded.
