SURAKARTA Focuses on securing the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the Central Java Police carry out extra tight security. One of them is anticipating the threat of explosives or bombs at Manahan Stadium.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol Satake Bayu Setianto, said that sterilization is a procedure that needs to be done to anticipate security disturbances, including acts of terrorism.

"This sterilization is carried out to prepare the location of the match to be safe from all forms of disturbance. Of course, after coordinating with the match organizing committee," he said.

Meanwhile, for security during the match, the Head of Public Relations said that the Central Java Police had prepared 4,149 joint personnel.

The second day of the U-17 World Cup at Manahan Stadium presents a match between the Spanish vs Mali national team at 16.00 WIB and the Canadian vs Uzbekistan national team match at 19.00 WIB.
