Prabowo-Gibran And Anies-Imin Pair Survey Trends Increase, Ganjar-Mahfud Down

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Poltracking national survey institute has photographed the electability trend of 3 pairs of candidates after the official registration of the presidential and vice presidential candidates in 2024. As a result, only the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair experienced a decline. In the presentation of the survey results, the Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia Hanta Yuda explained, in the simulation of the 3 presidential and vice presidential candidates, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka received an electability rate of 40.2 percent, followed by Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD 30.1 percent, and Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar 24.4 percent. "The electability trend of three pairs of presidential-vice presidential candidates from September to November 2023, the Prabowo-Gibran pair increased 9.5 percent, the Anies-Muhaimin pair also increased 6.0 percent, while Ganjar-Mahfud decreased by 1.5 percent," said Hanta in an online survey presentation, Friday, November 10. Hanta said that the increase and decrease in the electability trend of presidential and vice presidential candidates was influenced by the movement of electability in the largest province on the island of Java. For West Java Province, the Prabowo-Gibran pair decreased by 3.1 percent. Meanwhile, Anies-Imin experienced an 11.0 percent increase, and Ganjar-Mahfud also experienced an increase of 6.9 percent. Then in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta Provinces, the Ganjar-Mahfud pair decreased by 5.0 percent. Meanwhile, Prabowo-Gibran experienced an increase of 12.2 percent and Anies-Imin also experienced an increase of 4.4 percent. "In East Java Province, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka has increased by 5.6 percent, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD has also increased slightly by 0.5 percent. Anies Baswedan - Muhaimin Iskandar also experienced an increase of 5.0 percent," said Hanta Yuda.

For information, Poltracking Indonesia conducted a national survey on October 28 – November 3, 2023 using the stratified multistage random sampling method. Field data collection is carried out face-to-face. The sample in this survey is 1220 respondents with a margin of error +/- 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
