Issues Arising Out Of Extraordinary AHY, Democratic Declarator Admits Many Are Uneasy And Satisfied

JAKARTA - For one of the Democrat Party's declarators, Max Sopacua, it is natural that a cadre of the party bearing the Mercy emblem wants to hold an Extraordinary Congress (KLB) to replace Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) from the position of chairman. Because, there is something uncomfortable with AHY's leadership.

"I think the problem until there is an upheaval that causes an outbreak, it is a matter of comfort and discomfort, satisfaction and dissatisfaction, good and bad, credible and not credible," Max told VOI on Saturday, February 13.

Moreover, said Max, the cadre who wanted an extraordinary event to bring down Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) was not new to the Democratic Party. It's the old man. They are, explained Max, the people who raise the party. They led SBY to become president of the Republic of Indonesia for two terms.

"The ones who are volatile are the people who have raised this party. Not the people who have just come. Even though they are now, they have been involved in raising this party from the start," said Max.

He suspected that the senior Democrats wanted an outbreak because they were not accommodated in the AHY leadership, without good communication. Like himself who claims to be like an angkot passenger dropped off in the middle of the road. According to him, if AHY's communication went well with seniors this would not have happened.

"All of them are newcomers, recently," said Max.

Max Sopacua previously said he was disappointed with Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono's leadership as chairman of the Democratic Party. AHY became chairman through KLB replacing Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

According to Max, the leadership of SBY's eldest son did not give awards to party seniors. AHY forgets the merits of the seniors who raised the Democrats. Even like dropping public transportation passengers on the side of the road.

"Why do I use the philosophy of angkot passengers who are dropped off by the side of the road, when AHY became chairman and arranged the management, our name didn't exist. I don't want it, only the award process must exist. I am a declarator," said Max.

Apart from being proven to have raised the Democrats, the seniors also succeeded in getting SBY to become President of the Republic of Indonesia. Even two times he served. AHY should have remembered the services of those seniors.
