Jokowi Alludes To Drama Politics Ahead Of The Election, PDIP: Who Is The Main Director?

JAKARTA - Senior PDI-P politician Hendrawan Supratikno responded to President Joko Widodo's speech that alluded to the current political situation, too many dramas ahead of the 2024 General Election. Hendrawan then questioned who was the mastermind behind the drama.

"Who started the series of dramas?", said Hendrawan when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, November 7.

"Who is the main director of the drama?" he continued.

Not wanting to comment much, Hendrawan only hopes that a politician and statesman can have good political ethics. Politicians, he said, must be able to maintain their commitments and political promises.

"Hopefully politics still has an ethical spirit of guidance, not just dramas that lose meaning, because words are not maintained, because promises are not kept," he concluded.

It is known that President Jokowi talked about the current political conditions ahead of the 2024 presidential election. For Jokowi, what is currently happening is that there are too many political dramas.

"I see that lately what we have seen is too many dramas, too many dramas, too many soap operas, there should be fight ideas, fighting ideas, not fighting feelings," Jokowi said in a speech at Golkar Anniversary, Monday, November 6.

"If there is a fight that makes us all bothered, I don't have to continue because it will go anywhere," said Jokowi.

Previously, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said his party was sad and hurt because President Jokowi had left him behind. In fact, PDIP has been loving and giving privileges to Jokowi and his family.

According to Hasto, many of his party's branches and branches do not believe in the political conditions that are currently taking place after the decision of the Constitutional Court which succeeded in smoothing the way of his eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as a candidate for vice president (cawpares) accompanying Prabowo Subianto.

"We love and give so much prestige to President Jokowi and his family, but we are abandoned because there are other requests that have the potential to violate the prenatan of goodness and the constitution. At first we only prayed that this would not happen, but it turned out to be true," he said in a press release, Sunday, October 29.
