Police Is Doing Profiling To Trace Aisha Weddings' Digital Tracks

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will do profiling on Aisha Weddings' website which advises children to marry at a young age. Profiling is one approach in investigating criminal cases.

That was the statement from the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, February 11. "We are currently still continuing to profile the account".

In addition to profiling, investigators also study the case by clarifying the reporters of this case. The reporter for this case is the activist of the Indonesian Millennial Friends (Samindo) Setara Institute, Disna Riantina.

"First, we clarify to the reporting party by bringing the existing witnesses, existing evidence, including the witnesses presented to us", said Yusri.

Regarding the inaccessible website, Yusri did not mind it. Investigators can search history from the website.

"Digital traces will never disappear at any time, even if you erased them", he said.

For information, wedding organizer (WO) Aisha Weddings is being discussed on social media. The reason is that their website offers early marriage services for the age range of 12-21 years.

"Don't judge them... If their parents want to and the KUA issue a marriage dispensation for the children ...Then why are you upset??", wrote Aisha Weddings' Facebook account in their latest upload, Wednesday, February 10.

Suddenly, Aisha Weddings's wedding service went viral on Twitter. Many netizens think that the services of this WO had violated the law on child marriage because it encourages child marriage.

In their invitation, Aisha Weddings also embed Islamic religious teachings related to marriage. By describing the views of parents if early marriage can avoid free sex.

"All Muslim women want to be devout and obedient to Allah Almighty and their husband. To please Allah and their husband, they must be married at 12-21 years of age and no more than that", they wrote.
