JAKARTA - PDI-P DPP chairman Puan Maharani said she would meet with presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo to discuss the results of the meeting during a three-year lunch with President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday (30/10).

"Again, I want to meet Mas Ganjar," said Puan as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 31.

Puan admitted that she did not know for sure what discussions were discussed during the three-year lunch with President Jokowi.

Therefore, Puan wanted to meet Ganjar first. "I don't know I haven't met yet, I talked to Mas Ganjar first," he said.

Puan also admitted that she did not know whether Ganjar had reported the results of the meeting to the Chairperson of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"I don't know to Mrs. Mega yet, whether she has reported it or not, but should have informed her," he said.

Puan was also reluctant to reveal the details of the time of the meeting with Ganjar. He only answered that the meeting would be held as soon as possible.

Previously, President Joko Widodo revealed his meeting with Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, and Anies Baswedan to discuss peace election efforts.

"Yes, I invite to keep together so that elections run peacefully, there is no slander against each other, there is no negative campaign, no vilifying or demeaning each other," said President Jokowi after visiting the Bulan Market in Gianyar Regency, Bali, Tuesday.

Compared to these negative things, Jokowi actually wants candidate pairs to focus on the programs offered because that is what the community currently needs more.

President Joko Widodo invited three presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, and Prabowo Subianto, to have lunch together at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday (30/10).
