Plastic Field In Kalideres Burns, 13 Fire Units Deployed To Put Out The Fire

JAKARTA - Black smoke rose high into the air on Jalan Prepedan Dalam, RT 02/07, Tegal Alur Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta on Monday, October 30 night. The fire was seen continuing to burn a number of items in the area.

The fire was reported to have occurred at around 20.15 WIB. Until now, the fire has continued to grow and has not been extinguished by firefighters at the location.

"The object that caught fire was a plastic stall. The fire is still burning today," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifudin when contacted by VOI, Monday, October 30, evening.

Fire fighting operations have been carried out since 20.26 WIB. A total of 13 fire engines were deployed to the location.

The cause of the fire in the area is not yet known.

"There are 65 firefighters who are still struggling to extinguish the fire until now," he said.
