East Jakarta SDA Officers Viral Beaten, The Cause Is Because The Pump Engine Obstructs Residents' Cars

JAKARTA - A video circulating on social media is a commotion between a group of people and officials from the East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Office.

Based on the video uploaded by the @warung_jurnalis Instagram account, it appears that several men are involved in an argument with SDA officers at Bidara Cina, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

In addition, at the end of the video, a man whose identity has not been identified seems to have hit the officer. In fact, the man wearing the blue jacket kicked SDA's car.

Jatinegara police chief Kompol Yusup Suhadma said the incident began when SDA officers lowered the water pump machine around the location.

However, a man suddenly got angry and threw it out at the officers. The reason was, the water pump was blocking the car.

"His car cannot get out, even though he is in a hurry to rush his parents who are sick," said Yusup to VOI, Thursday, February 11.

Upset, the officers were beaten. However, this problem has been resolved amicably.

"There has been a letter of agreement to make peace. The officer also did not make a report," he said.
