Anies-Muhaimin, Ganjar-Mahfud, Prabowo-Gibran Graduate Health And Negative Drug Tests

The team of doctors at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital submitted the results of the third health examination of the presidential and vice presidential candidate for the 2024 General Election to the General Election Commission (KPU).

JAKARTA - The team of doctors at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital submitted the results of the third health examination of the presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 General Election to the General Election Commission (KPU).

The results of this health test are submitted collectively after all prospective pairs undergo examination.

The health test results documents of the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka were handed over by the Head of RSPAD Albertus Budi Sulistya to KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari.

As a result, all of the presidential and vice presidential candidates will pass the medical test and be declared capable of serving as president and vice president if elected.

Then, the results of the Anies-Cak Imin, Ganjar-Mahfud, and Prabowo-Subianto tests were also declared not positive for drugs.

"It is concluded that the results of the examination are able to carry out their duties as president and vice president. Second, they are declared free from drug abuse," said Hasyim when announcing the results of their respective health tests for prospective candidate pairs at the KPU office, Central Jakarta, Friday, October 27.

Meanwhile, Head of Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Albertus Budi Sulistya, said that this health check was carried out by involving 50 doctors consisting of a team of doctors at RSPAD, collegium doctors, BNN, and psychologists.

"We have conducted a plenary session so that we have obtained an assessment of the results of the examination and legally formally today I have submitted it to the Chairman of the Indonesian KPU to be considered in the implementation of the next election stages," said Budi.

It is known that the Anies and Cak Imin pair underwent a medical test on Saturday, October 21 after registering with the KPU on Thursday, October 19.

Then, Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD conducted a medical test on Sunday, October 22 after previously registering on Thursday, October 19.

Furthermore, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka underwent a medical test on Thursday, October 26 after registering on Wednesday, October 25.

Meanwhile, the final results of the verification series or administrative research on the requirements for the candidate pair will be determined by the KPU on Monday, November 13. Followed by the draw for candidate pairs on the following day on November 14, 2023.
