JATENG - Ganjar Pranowo's presidential candidate (candidate) said he was happy to get stories from religious leaders in Lampung about embracing the people in maintaining tolerance.

"In Lampung, I had time to visit the Islamic boarding school and also now go to the Tanjungkarang Diocese. This is also what I did during my visit to Malang, stopped by many places," said Ganjar in Bandar Lampung City, Lampung, Thursday, October 26, quoted by Antara.

From his visits to these various places, Ganjar admitted that he also received an impression of the enthusiasm of religious leaders in Lampung to build togetherness in life.

"So, earlier talking with the priest, some of their activities always provide benefits to the community," he added.

Meanwhile, the Bishop of the Tanjungkarang Diocese, Mgr. Vinsensius Setiawan Triatmojo, Pr. said Ganjar Pranowo's visit was a friendship.

"This meeting is just a gathering and is not a form of support for Ganjar," said Vinsensius.

Therefore, he said the Tanjungkarang Diocese opened the door if there would be a pair of presidential and other vice presidential candidates who wanted to visit and visit.

"Moreover, today has not yet entered the campaign period. So, in this friendship we also discuss many things, such as diversity, then about the work or role of churches in society," he said.
