Ganjar-Mahfud MD Optimistic Raup Suara Pemilih Muda

JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD will be optimistic that they can win the votes of the younger generation in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"We are optimistic that we will win the voice of the younger generation and are ready to accept input aspirations regarding the complaints they feel," said Ganjar in the 2024 Ganjar-Mahfud Declaration at the Jakarta Archives Museum, Wednesday, October 18.

Ganjar imitated Bung Karno's words "give us 10 parents I will pull Mount Semeru out of the roots and give me 10 youths so I will shake the world".

"Give Ganjar-Mahfud all the youths, we will achieve a common goal." he said.

Ganjar said that currently the world's development is very fast, especially technology, but the question is whether the Indonesian nation is able to respond and survive the wave.

"I'm sure we can, this is not a joke but seriousness is manifested in the contribution of contestation. The key to winning the nation's global face is in young friends," he said.

According to Ganjar, the Indonesian nation must provide equal opportunities to all young people in all corners of the country to get the same education and there is no discrimination.

"We ensure that young people get the same opportunities in the field of education and work with the competence they have to compete to improve their standard of living," he said.

Meanwhile, vice presidential candidate Mahfud MD said the total number of young voters in Indonesia reached 62 percent so that the 2024 election was a "democracy party" for young people.

Therefore Mahfud invites young people to dare to make improvements with their respective advantages and strengths.
