DKI Provincial Government Targets 2027 MRT Phase 2A To Operate Until Harmoni

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono inspects the construction of the MRT phase 2A line. Review is carried out along the tunnel starting from the Monas area to Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

Heru targets the construction of the MRT phase 2A line to be completed and start operating until Harmoni Station in 2027.

Phase 2A MRT Jakarta will connect the HI Roundabout Station to the City along about 5.8 kilometers and consist of seven underground stations, namely Thamrin, Monas, Harmoni, Sawah Besar, Mangga Besar, Glodok, and Kota.

"Until Harmoni in 2027. When it is finished until Harmoni, it can operate directly from HI to Harmoni. While the Harmoni-Kota development continues," said Heru at the location, Wednesday, October 18.

Heru explained that the progress of the construction of the Jakarta MRT phase 2A CP201 HI-Harmoni Roundabout has reached 62 percent, while the phase 2A CP202 Harmoni-Kota has reached 26 percent.

Then, the construction structure of MRT Jakarta Phase 2A is ensured to be safe, even resistant to earthquakes measuring up to eight scales of richter.
