JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk synergizes with the BukaLapak e-commerce platform to encourage the expansion of online mortgage products through the BukaRumah menu. Bank Mandiri also collaborates with property startup Pinhome.id in providing and marketing property digitally.
Through the BukaRumah menu, Bank Mandiri will later offer property stocks throughout Indonesia from partner developers to Bukalapak users.
Pinhome.id will update this stock periodically by adding to the list of properties offered in order to provide product variations according to community needs.
Currently, the BukaRumah menu development process on the Bukalapak platform is in the finalization stage and will be widely enjoyed in the second quarter of 2020.
According to Bank Mandiri Deputy President Director Hery Gunardi, collaboration with this platform-based business is a form of the company's initiative to adopt information technology developments in creating efficiency and ease of transactions for the public.
"Through this collaboration, we want to create new experiences in property transactions. Simply by moving a finger on the device that is owned, the community can have the property assets needed. Moreover, we also have interesting promo programs in this collaboration, "said Hery in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, February 27.
Hery continued, the public can immediately submit an application for the desired property asset on the same menu so that it can be processed immediately. Even if all the formal requirements have been met, the community can get approval in a relatively fast time.
"The public can also get clarity on the progress of credit applications, which is updated regularly on the Bukalapak platform," he said.
The promo programs provided in collaboration with Bukalapak include the opportunity to get cashback and selected furniture, special discounts on property prices, to installments that are lighter than submitting offline.
Hery hopes that this collaboration will be able to increase Bank Mandiri property ownership credit transactions above 8 percent by the end of this year after recording an increase of 2.8 percent at the end of last year to IDR 44.3 trillion.
Especially in the primary market, Bank Mandiri lending grew by 12.63 percent, so that in order to achieve the KPR target in 2020, active collaboration with partner developers is needed in the form of joint events such as the one currently held, namely the Property Expo.
This event presents 17 of Bank Mandiri's Leading Developers in a series of One Heart One Mandiri Bazaar activities on 26-28 February 2020. The bazaar, which is an initiative of the Bank Mandiri Family Wife Association (IIKBM), is an annual event that is routinely held and this year is the 1st time 2.
