4G BTS Corruption, AGO Explores Sadikin Rusli's Link To BPK

JAKARTA - The Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office Ketut Sumedana said that the investigator of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) is investigating the relationship between Sadikin Rusli and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in the case of alleged 4G BTS corruption. "Is it related to the BPK, we are investigating it," said Ketut quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 16. Investigator Jampidsus AGO named Sadikin Rusli as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of 4G BTS on Sunday (15/10). Full information regarding the determination of the suspect Sadikin Rusli, Ketut said that his party would announce on Monday afternoon. Sadikin Rusli was arrested in Surabaya City, East Java, on Saturday (14/10). In addition to arrest, the investigative team also searched Sadikin's residence in Manyar Kertoarjo, Mojo Village, Gubeng District, East Java, Saturday, at 10.00 WIB. Sadikin was arrested in a case of alleged corruption in the criminal act of bad conspiracy of gratification or money laundering (TPPU) with the origin of criminal acts of corruption in the provision of 4G BTS infrastructure and supporting infrastructure packages 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 BAKTI Ministry of Communication and Information for 2020-2022.

Prior to Sadikin Rusli, Jampidsus AGO investigators also named Edward Hutahaean as a suspect in the alleged bribery and money laundering case. With the determination of the two new suspects, the total number of suspects in the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G BAKTI Kominfo became 13 people.
