JAKARTA - The Ganjar Presidential National Winning Team (TPN GP) uses millennial and Gen Z spokespersons from various backgrounds as an effort to attract young voters in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election.
"We are introducing a spokesperson to convey Ganjar Pranowo's winning message to all Indonesian people," said TPN GP Chairman Arsjad Rasjid in Jakarta, Sunday.
It was also said that these young spokespersons were chosen from among professionals, academics, young politicians, as well as the millennial generation and Gen Z who have influence among young people.
"We want to build a happy and enjoyable political narrative and convey the Ganjar Pranowo program to all Indonesian people," said Arsjad as quoted by Antara.
Meanwhile, PDI-P presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo said that this young spokesperson had gained the insight to convey the programs they would carry out.
"These young people have a lot to get involved in, and I propose to them to get involved in this democratic party," said Ganjar.
According to him, the more millennial spokespersons there will be, the more contemporary narratives will be built in front of the public.
"This will boost young people's confidence in politics so they will be happy in this democratic party," he said.
