Perpetrators Of Watering Hard Water In The Face Of Assistant Afdeling IV PTP VII Tangkit Serdang Lampung Arrested

Tanggamus Resort Police (Polres), Lampung Police, arrested Armin (45), the perpetrator of sprinkling hard water on the victim Sudarmadi (50) who was the former boss of the perpetrator.

The Head of the Pugung Police, Tanggamus Police, Ipda Ori Wiryadi, as quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 15, said that his party had secured the perpetrators at a rented house in the Labuhan Ratu District, Bandarlampung City.

"After an in-depth investigation, then on Thursday, October 12, 2023 night the suspect was arrested without a fight," he said.

He explained that the incident occurred on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at around 21.00 WIB at the PTPN VII Tangkit Serdang Implementation Housing, Pekon Tangkit Serdang, Pugung District, Tanggamus Regency.

"The victim was Sudarmadi, as Assistant Afdeling IV of PTP VII Tangkit Serdang, who was doused with hard water by the perpetrator, triggered by heartache for the victim, who was previously Armin's suspected boss, who was a rubber customer," he said.

The police chief explained that the chronology of the incident began when the electricity at Sudarmadi's official residence suddenly went out, the victim left the official residence to turn on the electricity again.

"However, a surprising incident occurred when the power went out again. This time, before the victim turned on the electricity, an unknown perpetrator came and suddenly watered the victim with liquid from a jerry can," he said.

The liquid hit the victim's face and mouth, which caused severe pain. Although the victim tried to fight back, the incredible pain made him decide to run away and ask for help from his son.

After the incident, the victim realized that the liquid used was ammonia, a substance commonly used to prevent rubber sap clots.

Sudarmadi was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. As a result of this attack, the victim experienced visual impairments, a painful sensation in the tongue and burning face.

"The victim's child then reported the incident to the Pugung Police. His father was injured and lost his cellphone," he said.

Then the police pursued the perpetrator, and arrested him found several obstacles, because, after being identified, the suspect, Armin, fled Tanggamus to Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra.

"When the officers who gave chase to the local area, the perpetrator Armin fled back to Lampung Province and was identified as being in the Labuhan Ratu District, Bandar Lampung City," he said.

From the arrest of the suspect, it was revealed that when the victim was injured, he took and took away the victim's cellphone during the incident at the PTPN VII Tangkt Serdang Implementation Service House.

As a result of his actions, the suspect under Article 353 Paragraph 2 concerning premeditated abuse caused serious injuries, with a penalty of seven years in prison.
