Spectacular! Starting With 25 Grams Of Crystal Methamphetamine, Depok Police Successfully Trace Drug Networks And Confiscated 302 Kg Of Crystal Meth

JAKARTA - The Depok Police succeeded in uncovering the narcotics network with hundreds of kilograms of methamphetamine as evidence. The disclosure of this network began only with the development of cases of tens of grams of crystal methamphetamine.

"This case began with the disclosure and arrest of 6 suspects from five police reports, with 25 grams of crystal methamphetamine as evidence," said the Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran to reporters, Tuesday, February 9.

From the initial arrest, it was immediately developed into several areas. Until finally four people were caught with evidence of 302 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.

"The Depok Police Chief and the Depok Narcotics Unit, who have disclosed spectacular drug cases, are quite fantastic, with 258 kilogran of crystal methamphetamine," he said.

Fadil continued, the development of this case had a face when the police received information about the origin of crystal methamphetamine in the Padang area, West Sumatra. The officer then left to conduct an investigation.

In the process of investigation, this information was proven. The police arrested the perpetrator with the initials EM with 44 kilograms of methamphetamine evidence.

"The EM information was taken from the hospital parking lot," explained Fadil.

Not only that, the police re-developed it to Pekanbaru, Riau. There the police seized hundreds of kilographs of crystal methamphetamine and secured three suspects, namely, Junaedi, Zulkarnain, and Eko Saputro.

"With the arrest of the perpetrator in the city of Pekanbaru, Riau and successfully securing 258 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine evidence which was previously developed from disclosure in the city of Padang with 44 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine evidence. So the total disclosure of this network was 302 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine," he said.

Although it has revealed a sizeable network, the police are still developing. Because, there are still some people who are fugitives.

Meanwhile, four people who have been arrested are under suspicion under Article 114 paragraph 2 or Article 112 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning narcotics with a death threat.
