Dito Ariotedjo Denies The Issue Of Rp27 Billion In Cash In The BTS Case, The Attorney General's Office Will Carry Out Development

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will develop witness statements at the trial of the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G Kominfo, including the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo. Later, it is possible that development will be carried out regarding the alleged obstruction of the investigation.

"We respect anyone who provides information at the trial and is present at the trial. Then we will pay close attention to all the information revealed at the trial and we study everything," said Head of the AGO, Ketut Sumedana to reporters, Thursday, October 12.

The developments that will be carried out are related to allegations of corruption and obstruction. However, currently, investigators are still following the dynamics of the trial while collecting additional evidence.

"Just wait. Hopefully there will be developments in this case. Will there be articles 2, Article 3 or other articles related to obstruction or also related to Article 11, Article 5 and Article 12 (Corruption Law). We'll see everything," he said.

In addition, regarding Dito Ariotedjo's statement which denied the receipt and admitted that he did not know about the Rp27 billion money, Ketut said it was a natural thing.

However, in the ongoing investigation process, later the evidence in the form of documents or others will reveal the real facts.

"Demanding is legitimate, the person denied it, later the truth will be given other evidence that can reveal everything. We'll see how it develops later," said Ketut.

Previously reported, Dito Ariotedjo emphasized that he did not accept any gifts from the President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia Galumbang Menak Simanjuntak, who is now a defendant in the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G Kominfo.

"At the first meeting, was there a difference in entrusting something with you?" asked Hakim Fahzal.

"Nothing," replied Dito.

"Nothing?" asked Judge Fahzal convincingly.

"No sir," said the Menpora.

Judge Fahzal then asked a similar question about the second meeting between Dito and Galumbang. The man who now serves as Menpora reiterated that there was no gift whatsoever.

"The second meeting is the same?" asked Judge Fahzal.

"It's the same, Your Majesty," said Dito.
