JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi believes that President Jokowi will reshuffle his cabinet again following the resignation of the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, due to an investigation by the KPK.

"Yes, it is. Yes, of course," said Budi Arie at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday, October 9.

However, he admitted that until now there has been no sign that Jokowi's cabinet reshuffle will be carried out.

"Just wait for President Joko Widodo's decision on who will be appointed as the definitive Minister of Agriculture," he said.

President Joko Widodo previously appointed the Head of the National Food Agency Arief Prasetyo Adi to be the Acting Minister of Agriculture.

Budi Arie said the Acting Minister of Agriculture took one or two months to work.

Regarding who the minister is, who will be replaced by the President in the cabinet reshuffle, Budi Arie emphasized that this is the prerogative of the president. "We'll just have to wait. I also don't want to gossip. The future of the Minister of Communication and Information is a gossip maker," Budi said when asked about the cabinet reshuffle.
