Jokowi Will Attend The Peak Of National Maritime Day In Kupang

KUPANG - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to make a working visit to Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to attend the peak of the 59th National Maritime Day (HMN) which will take place at Lantamal VII Kupang.

"Mr. President Joko Widodo will visit NTT on Thursday (12/10) to attend the 59th National Maritime Day (HMN) activity," said NTT Regional Secretary Kosmas D Lana in Kupang as reported by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.

According to Kosmas, currently Acting Governor of NTT Ayodhia GL Kalake is in Denpasar, Bali to participate in activities carried out by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) as well as to ensure the planned working visit of President Joko Widodo to NTT on Thursday (12/10).

President Joko Widodo was in Kupang for one day for several activities that were closely related to the 59th National Maritime Day (HMN) centered at the Kupang Navy VII Main Base in Bolok, Kupang Regency.

He hopes that the regents in NTT who are also present at the educational workshop activities in NTT will also attend President Joko Widodo's working visit to NTT.

"We ask regents and mayors in NTT to attend the event because on Friday (13/10) the NTT Government held a meeting with a number of echelon I officials from a number of Ministries in coordination with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries to discuss a number of very important work programs. carried out in NTT," said Kosmas.
