JAKARTA - The Association of Santri Supporting Ganjar, Yogyakarta Special Region, conducted a gathering with a number of figures, such as Kiai Ustad at Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. Their arrival was to maintain good relations and as part of volunteer priority activities.

They also hope that the visit to Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School will also be a wasilah for Ganjar Pranowo who wants to compete in the 2024 presidential election.

"Alhamdulillah, Santri Supports Ganjar DIY to stay in touch with several figures/Ustad/Kyai in the Special Region of Yogyakarta", said the Santri Coordinator, Supporting Ganjar, Yogyakarta Special Region, Ijtihadul Umam.

"Today we had the opportunity to stay in touch with Kyai Musthofa PP Nurul Iman Bantul, Mr. Supriyanto Atmojo (Dukuh Gunung Kidul), Mr. Siyamtono (Chairman of RT Kulonprogo)," he added, Friday, October 6.

The prayers and support of the students was also supported by Kiai Mustofa and Kang Mus, as the leaders of the Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School. The two Islamic figures said that Ganjar Pranowo was the person who deserved to lead Indonesia.

They said Ganjar Pranowo was a descendant of one of God's guardians, Sunan Kalijaga. Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo is a descendant of Waliyullah Raden Mas Said (Sunan Kalijaga)," explained Kyai Mustofa.

He also said that Ganjar Pranowo's grandfather had a great father named Kanjeng Raden Tumenggung Mandoyo Nagoro, who had the son of Raden Mas Abdullah and was still a descendant of Sunan Kalijagam. Even Ganjar Pranowo's father-in-law was also called the famous cleric, namely KH Hisyam Abdul Karim.

Therefore, the full support of the students and Islamic leaders in the Yogyakarta region poured in on Ganjar Pranowo. Plus, Ganjar Pranowo's performance while leading Central Java has become an illustration of his success as a leader.
