"Of the 1,058 suspects, 263 are users and the remaining 795 are dealers," said North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Setya Imam Effendi at a press conference at the North Sumatra Police Headquarters, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 4.

Agung said the 1,058 suspects who were arrested were the result of the disclosure of 768 drug cases throughout North Sumatra.

"This is a disclosure of drug cases carried out by the North Sumatra Police and the North Sumatra Police for 22 days from September 12 to October 3, 2023," he said.

The Regional Police Chief said that together with the suspect, evidence of 75.97 kg of methamphetamine was also secured, 114.90 kg of dried marijuana, 51 cannabis trees and 998 ecstasy pills were secured.
