Police Reveal Types Of Senpi At The Office House Of Minister Of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo

Polda Metro Jaya received 12 firearms (senpi) confiscated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) from the official residence of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo. Of the dozens of guns, one of them is a S&W revolver.

"(Type Senpi) There are S&W, Walther, Tanfoglio and others," said Director of Intelligence at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hirbak Wahyu Setiawan when confirmed, Saturday, September 30.

In the process of deepening the origin of the gun, Ditintelkam Polda Metro Jaya has coordinated with Baintelkam Polri. However, the results of the interim investigation have not yet been conveyed. "It is being coordinated with Baintelkam to check the permit," said Hirbak.

As previously reported, the KPK found a gun while searching the official residence of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo at Widya Chandra, South Jakarta. The search was carried out on 28-29 September 2023.

"That's right, there are (discoveries, red) senpi," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri.

Ali has not detailed the type of firearm. However, the investigative team found 12 pistols found.

During the search, investigators also found tens of billions of money consisting of foreign currency denominations and rupiah. This evidence will be analyzed to be confiscated if it relates to allegations of corruption being investigated.

The anti-corruption commission decided to investigate allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). The decision was taken after pocketing sufficient initial evidence.
