The Attorney General's Office Is Looking For New Evidence Of The BTS Corruption Fund Flow To Menpora Dito Ariotedjo Rp27 Billion

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is looking for additional evidence related to the alleged flow of funds in the alleged 4G base transceiver station (BTS) corruption case to the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo worth IDR 27 billion.

The alleged flow of 4G BTS funds to Dito Ariotedjo and Commission I of the DPR appeared during the trial on Tuesday, September 26.

"Currently investigators are still investigating and looking for evidence (flow of funds to Dito Ariotedjo and Commission I of the DPR)," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Kuntadi, Friday, September 29.

According to him, the testimony presented by witnesses Irwan Hermawan and Windi is only worth one piece of evidence. So, investigators are looking for other evidence such as documents or letters.

Moreover, the testimony of Irwan Hermawan and Windi is nothing new for investigators. Because they had time to convey it when they were examined at the investigation stage.

"Basically what was explained at the trial was not a new fact or had been explained by witnesses at the investigation BAP," said Kuntadi.

Meanwhile, witness Irwan Hermawan, who is a former Commissioner of PT Solitech Media Sinergy, said that he gave Rp 27 billion to Dito Aritedjo. The money was to resolve the 4G BTS corruption case which also involved the former Minister of Communication and Information Johnny Gerard Plate.
