Gathering With Sports Management, Menpora Dito Wants All Sports To Unite Determination And Goals For Indonesian Sports Progress

JAKARTA - Attention to increasing Indonesia's sports achievements continues to be carried out by the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo. On Monday, August 21 night, Menpora Dito invited all sports to stay in touch and have dinner together with the theme "Sport Leader Gathering" at the Pullman Hotel, Jakarta.

In his remarks, Menpora Dito expressed his gratitude to all the leaders or administrators of the sports that had been present. "Tonight, in front of me there are leaders, agents of change who I believe have great leadership abilities, who have vision and mission of how to mobilize their respective sports organizations to be stronger, more advanced, more innovative, and more victorious," said Menpora Dito.

According to Menpora Dito, all sports may be different, but all have the same goal to advance our sports achievements to be greater. Therefore, he hopes that this event can be a gathering event as well as unite the goals, determination and synergy.

"I invite you to stay in touch tonight to be together and relaxed. We have passed the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia and the results are good. A little more we will also face the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, and the 2024 Aceh-North PON where the PON Pra has been held. I want to hear from the leader of the sport with what is expected, notes and evaluations for the Ministry of Youth and Sports," said Menpora Dito.

Several points were also conveyed by Menpora Dito, including a commitment to evaluate the National Sports Design Sports Branch (DBON), Government Assistance for the secretariat of PB/PP, in the early stages for olympic sports with the aim of strengthening human resources in order to be able to make strong organizational planning and accountable, and the potential for Indonesia to host the World Cup, World Championship or other Multievents.

"Hopefully on this warm and happy night, we can get together to familiarize ourselves, familiarize our vision and mission to build sports. The synergy of all sports stakeholders, because the synergy of sports stakeholders is an important part," he said.

The minister, who is only 32 years old, hopes that this activity can become an agent for changes to each sport. "Starting from this activity, starting from the ladies and gentlemen who are here, we hope that the synergy of the leaders, agents of change from each sport. Let's unite our hopes, unite our goals, unite our determination, create synergies, let's create brilliant and scintillating Indonesian sports," he concluded.

At the event, several sports were also given the opportunity to express opinions as input material for Menpora Dito and Kemenpora. One of them was conveyed by the Central Management of the Sambo Indonesia Association (PP Persambi), Krisna Bayu regarding issues such as budget issues, facilities and infrastructure to the future of athletes.

"I am happy to be here and the appreciation made by Menpora Dito to stay in touch with sports leaders. I just want to convey the issue of budget, facilities and infrastructure to the future of athletes, all of whom are for the advancement of Indonesia's sports achievements," said Krisna Bayu.

Several sports administrators who were also present at the event, such as the General Chairperson of PB Percasi Utut Adianto, General Chairperson of Forki Hadi Tjahjanto, General Chairperson of the Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) Danny Kosasih and several other vegetable administrators.
