The North Kalimantan Regional Police (Kaltara) finally revealed to the public regarding the progress of the investigation into the case of the death of Brigadier Setyo Herlambang who is an aide to the North Kalimantan Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya. One of the facts revealed is that until now the bullet projectile that killed Brigadier Setyo Herlambang is still not found.Head of Public Relations of the Kaltara Police, Kombes Pol Budi Rachmat said, the death of Brigadier Setyo Herlambang was confirmed to have been caused by a bullet coming from inside the victim's room until it penetrated the bedroom window. At the time that the bullet penetrated the bedroom window, it turned out that it was recorded by the CCTV camera. "Yes, based on CCTV camera footage, the incident was estimated to have occurred at around 13.39 WITA, because we assumed it was in accordance with CCTV camera footage. So indeed the bullet penetrated the room window and was caught on CCTV cameras," said Budi, Monday, September 26. Police still cannot determine the background of Setyo Herlambang's death. This is because the police are still looking for a number of evidences, including bullet projectiles that killed victims. "We can't explain it yet, because apart from the autopsy results, we are still gathering other evidence, including bullet projectiles that penetrated the victim's room window, we still haven't found," he added. Budi also responded to various allegations that have been circulating in the community regarding the death of victims. "That's just an assumption, the initial assumption, can't change with the progress of the investigation results," he said.

Reportedly, Brigadier Setyo Herlambang was found dead covered in blood in his room in the office of the Kaltara Police Chief. The victim died as a result of being shot by a firearm. Initial guess, the victim died due to negligence while cleaning a firearm. This police found a firearm near the victim's body which was registered in the name of the victim.
