ATR/BPN: 700 Lands Of Kupang City Government Have Not Been Certified

More than 700 plots of land belonging to the Kupang City Government, East Nusa Tenggara Province have not been certified by the Agrarian Agrarian Office and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Kupang City. Currently, officers are processing it so that the certificate is issued quickly. "The number of land for the Kupang City Government that has not been certified has reached more than 700 plots of land," said Kupang City ATR/BPN Head Eksam Sodak in Kupang, as reported by Antara, Monday, September 25. This was conveyed in relation to the certification of government-owned land, in addition to certification of land belonging to individuals or communities in the capital city of NTT Province. He seeks that a number of lands belonging to the Kupang City Government can be certified as soon as possible so as not to cause conflicts with the community. "We are trying to cooperate with the government so that we can certify government-owned land," he said. In addition to land owned by the Kupang City government, his party is also still in the process of certifying 200 plots of land belonging to the NTT provincial government in the NTT capital area. "Two certificates have been handed over, one of which has been symbolically handed over, namely the land of Ben Mboi Hospital of approximately 3.5 hectares out of a total of 21 hectares," he added. Furthermore, he said, currently based on records from ATR/BPN Kupang City, the potential for certified land area in Kupang City has reached 125 thousand fields and more than 106 thousand hectares have been certified. He said that the rest that had not been certified were sought to be certified immediately. One of them is through a complete systematic land registration program (PTSL). Eksam added that PTSL is one of the government programs that makes it easier for people to get land certificates for free. Certificates are quite important for land owners, PTSL's goal is to avoid disputes and disputes in the future. Therefore, he appealed to the public so that with the convenience that has been implemented by the ATR/BPN Kupang City, the public can go directly to the office.

"We hope that people can use pro-active methods by preparing their rights as soon as possible, then also taking care of their own certificates because there is convenience with seven priority services to accelerate," he added.
