"The number of land for the Kupang City Government that has not been certified has reached more than 700 plots of land," said Kupang City ATR/BPN Head Eksam Sodak in Kupang, as reported by Antara, Monday, September 25.

In addition to land owned by the Kupang City government, his party is also still in the process of certifying 200 plots of land belonging to the NTT provincial government in the NTT capital area.
"Two certificates have been handed over, one of which has been symbolically handed over, namely the land of Ben Mboi Hospital of approximately 3.5 hectares out of a total of 21 hectares," he added.
Furthermore, he said, currently based on records from ATR/BPN Kupang City, the potential for certified land area in Kupang City has reached 125 thousand fields and more than 106 thousand hectares have been certified.
He said that the rest that had not been certified were sought to be certified immediately. One of them is through a complete systematic land registration program (PTSL).
Eksam added that PTSL is one of the government programs that makes it easier for people to get land certificates for free.
