Garut Deputy Regent Asks For Cases Of Video Mesum To Be Legally Processed

Garut Deputy Regent Helmi Budiman stated that the immoral video case carried out by a young couple from Garut Regency, West Java, had to be prosecuted.

"Hopefully this is also processed, I ask the authorities to be legally processed," Helmi Budiman said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 23.

He said that young people make videos with immoral nuances and then spread across a number of people, of course it is a disaster.

Moreover, their actions, he said, were carried out during a live broadcast on one of the social media applications which of course was watched by many people.

"So this is not or is not appropriate at all, either watched or shown," he said.

He appealed to the people of Garut Regency to pay attention to the incident, and avoid inappropriate acts to be shown to the wider community.

"I appeal to the whole community, to avoid, stay away from things like this," he said.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Garut Police, AKP Ari Rinaldo, stated that the police had arrested the cast in the immoral video, namely the initials HAP (19) and AS (25) in Garut Regency.

Both, he said, had been taken to the Garut Police Headquarters to undergo further legal examination, and explore their motives for committing the act.

Both, he said, admitted that they were in the video and made in the boarding house room about two months ago.

"It was made in boarding houses in the Garut area," said Ari.

Previously, Garut Regency residents were shocked by an immoral video by a pair of young people who were broadcast live on one of the social media applications with a video duration of 6 minutes 35 seconds.
