Kaesang Join PSI? Secretary General: Please Pray

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Twitter account uploaded a video of a voice similar to the youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep. In his narration, the man stated that he had entered politics.

Although his identity has not been stated, this raises a question mark from netizens regarding the truth that Kaesang has officially joined as a PSI cadre.

When asked for information, PSI Secretary General Isyana Bagoes Oka did not want to confirm that Kaesang officially entered the party led by Giring Ganesha.

"Please pray first," said Isyana in a short message to VOI, Wednesday, September 20.

When asked about the certainty of the truth regarding the rumors of Kaesang being a PSI cadre, Isyana also did not provide an answer.

"Once again, please pray," he replied.

Today, PSI's official account on Twitter or X uploaded a 42-second 'unusual' video. The voice similar to Kaesang in the video says that he wants to enter politics for big purposes.

"My name Mawar is not her real name. Currently I have strengthened my heart to enter politics," the first words when the video was played.

Furthermore, the voice ensures that he wants to enter politics for a better Indonesia.

"I don't have experience in politics yet, but I have a big goal for a better Indonesia. Hopefully the path I choose is the right path," he said.

At the end of the video, a man with glasses is seen exactly Kaesang with a red background.

In fact, PSI has opened the door wide for Kaesang Pangarep to join as a party cadre led by Giring Ganesha for a long time. This invitation was made by PSI DPP spokesman Cheryl Tanzil.

"Politics requires fresh blood, young people with creativity and broad imagination. Monggo, Mas Kaesang, joins PSI. We can fight together, maintain and improve all the good policies that have begun," Cheryl said in her statement, Thursday, January 26.

Cheryl claims that Kaesang can quickly adapt and exchange ideas when entering PSI. This is because PSI is filled by many young politicians. In fact, Cheryl called Kaesang's position as the company boss whom she pioneered could be her political provision.

"He led Persis Solo. Mas Kaesang also raised a number of companies. This is an adequate initial provision for politics," he said.
