Prabowo Will Not Report Hoax Spreaders Of Distribution Of Deputy Ministers But Cannot Be Prohibited If Anyone Reports To The Police

JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto has no plans to report the spread of hoaxes against the deputy minister (wamen). However, he could not prohibit it if someone submitted a report to the police.

This was conveyed by Spokesperson Prabowo Subianto, Dahnil Anzar in response to the issues that have been circulating and busy lately. He said Prabowo would not report it because he did not want to make a fuss about it.

"Is there a legal step from Pak Prabowo's side, no," Dahnil told reporters at the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan) Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, September 20.

"(But, ed) if then there are citizens, volunteers, all kinds of things that take legal steps in their context of fulfilling their constitutional rights, yes, we cannot prohibit it," he continued.

Dahnil said that Prabowo often got this kind of slander. However, the Minister of Defense (Menhan) is already immune.

Instead of fussing over it, Prabowo believes that the spreader of hoaxes will get his own reward. Moreover, the former Danjen Kopassus wants the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) to run more calmly.

"And our democracy must appear happily, that's all," he said.

Previously, Twitter or X social media users uploaded the issue of Prabowo's attack on a deputy minister. Although he did not clearly mention names, this allegation led to the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party because this figure was referred to as a minister who was a presidential candidate (candidate).

Initially, the issue arose because of the crowd in a group conversation. According to the netizen, a group member asked about the issue of a minister strangling and slapping one of the deputy ministers before the meeting.

This incident was later said to be known to other ministers who participated in the divorce. Not only slapping, this minister is also said to be strangling.

Still a circulating issue, this incident started because the minister was angry that there was work that was not assisted by other ministers. He is said to be waiting for the unnamed minister but even the deputy minister who attended.
