Gerindra's Instructions After Democrats Join KIM: Keep Political Temperatures Peaceful And Conducive

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad instructed Gerindra Party cadres throughout Indonesia to keep political temperatures peaceful and conducive after joining the Democratic Party to the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM).

It is known that Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto and the chairman of the KIM political party have received the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and General Chair Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, Sunday, September 17.

During the meeting, the Democratic Party conveyed the decision of the Party's High Council which stated that the Democratic Party supported Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

"Today we, the Gerindra Party has received an honor with increasing strength in facing the 2024 presidential election," Dasco told reporters, Sunday, September 17.

"Our party has officially accepted the joining of the Democratic Party into the Advanced Indonesia Coalition," he continued.

According to Dasco, the joining of the Democratic Party has made Gerindra and political parties supporting Prabowo strong and enthusiastic to fight. Therefore, Dasco invited all Gerindra party cadres throughout Indonesia to be grateful for the additional strength today.

"However, as the daily chairman, I remind Gerindra Party cadres throughout Indonesia to remain humble, to keep working hard, to stay closer to the people and to keep political temperatures peaceful and conducive," said Dasco.

The deputy chairman of the DPR also invited cadres to respect each other in this five-year contestation. He also asked all parties to work together happily in politics and to build the nation for an advanced Indonesia.

"To Gerindra cadres throughout Indonesia, let's pick up the victory that will soon come, our struggle will be completed, namely in 2024 Prabowo president! Indonesia won," said Dasco.
