DENPASAR - Police handled a commotion between two residents who were neighbors because of a mango tree. This incident occurred on Jalan Gatsu, Banjar Terunasari, Dauh Puri Kaja Village, Denpasar City.

The inter-neighbor quarrel was resolved by the Banjar Terunasari Police, Aiptu Made Rudiarta, together with Bhabinkamtibmas, Dauh Puri Kaja Village, Aiptu Supian Salbi, Thursday (14/9).

Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police AKP I Ketut Sukadi explained that the dispute between neighbors was resolved by Aiptu Made Rudiarta and Aiptu Supian Salb.

"This mediation is a good example of how a peaceful settlement can be achieved through dialogue and cooperation between the authorities and the community. Hopefully this can strengthen the harmony among the neighbors living in Dauh Puri Kaja," said Sukadi, Friday, September 15.

The problem stems from a resident's report with the initials NNW (47) who reported mango tree trunks at a resident's house with the initials HMA (59) entering the area of his house.

NNW in August already spoke to HMA about his mango tree which covered NNW's house with mango leaves falling.

The waterways are clogged. Plus mango leaves scattered in his yard.

HMA, the owner of the mango tree, called the police, responded emotionally, and an argument ensued.

Therefore, NNW decided to report this issue through the Banjar Hebat Police application hoping that mediation could be carried out.

"In mediation attended by both parties, an agreement was finally reached. Both agreed to cut the mango tree and the upper jackfruit tree which are disturbing so that they can avoid similar problems in the future. In addition, they also agreed to work together in regulating vehicle parking in the area so that it is neater and more orderly, so that it no longer interferes with traffic and the peace of local residents," he said.
