Prabowo Alludes To Accepting 'Fajar Attack' Envelope, KPK: That's A Corrupt Action

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminded the public not to accept the envelope of the dawn attack. This action is considered to lead to corrupt acts. This was conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in response to the statement of the presidential candidate (candidate) who is also the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto. He had mentioned that the public may receive the money given before and during the general election (election). "That the intended dawn attack, for example, by distributing money and so on in the ongoing processes is a corrupt act," Ali told reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 12. Ali then explained that the dawn attack often led to corrupt behavior, not just by the KPK. This is because the institution has a study. "And some of the cases handled by the KPK have the same motive to return the capital that has been issued," he said. "I don't think we want things like that to happen again," Ali continued. Prabowo while attending the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) Anniversary event, Gus Miftah, said that the public must maintain harmony and peace. The presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition also said that the public could receive the money distributed during the 2024 election but could not change their choice.

"Earlier what Gus Miftah said, if someone distributes money, just accept it. That's also money from the people. That's the people's money. If you share it, just accept it, but follow your please, choose what you believe in your heart will do the best for the nation, people, and children," he said in his speech in Yogyakarta, Friday, September 8.
