"The disclosure of this case originated from the victim's report received by the Tempilang Police and was followed up by the arrest of a woman with the initials Ma alias Li (34), a resident of Airlintang Village," said West Bangka Police Chief AKBP Fedriansah quoted by Antara, Thursday, February 4.

He explained that the perpetrator was someone close to the victim who committed the theft by repeatedly taking the victim's money. The total loss reached IDR 150 million.

"The victim felt that his savings had started to decrease since December 21, 2020 and only reported it a few days ago which was immediately followed up by the Tempilang Police personnel with an investigation," said AKBP Fedriansah.
