PPP Politician Irgan Chairul Mahfiz And Praise Suhartono Will Be Heard Soon

JAKARTA - Investigation files of former DPR members from the PPP faction, Irgan Chairul Mahfiz and former Deputy General Treasurer (Wabendum) of the PPP DPP, Puji Suhartono, were completed by KPK investigators.

Both are suspects in the case of alleged bribery in the management of the 2017 State Budget (DAK) and 2018 State Budget for North Labuhan Batu Regency.

Acting KPK spokesman, Ali Fikri, said the investigation files with the suspects Irgan Chairul Mahfiz and Puji Suhartono had been declared complete or P21. To that end, the investigating team submits case files, evidence and the two suspects to the prosecution stage or stage II.

"Today, after the case files are declared complete, the KPK investigating team will carry out phase II, namely the handover of suspects and evidence on behalf of the ICH (Irgan Chairul Mahfiz) and PJH (Puji Suhartono) suspects to the Prosecutors' Team," Ali said in his statement on Thursday. February 4th.

In this case, KPK investigators have examined 81 people as witnesses. Including civil servants in the North Labuhanbatu Regency Government.

With this transfer, the detention of the two suspects becomes the authority of the Prosecutor Team for 20 days from February 4, 2021 to February 23, 2021.

Meanwhile, the prosecutors have a maximum of 14 working days to prepare an indictment against Irgan and Puji. Later the indictments of both will be submitted to the Medan Corruption Court for trial.

"The trial is scheduled at the Medan Corruption Court," said Ali.
