In Front Of 1000 Kiai, Defense Minister Prabowo Expresses His Thanks To Ulama

SLEMAN - Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto attended the Silaturahmi Forum 1,000 Kiyai Se-DIY in the 11th Anniversary of Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School accompanied by KH. Miftah Habiburrahman or commonly called Gus Miftah, the leader of the Aji Sleman Ora Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta, Friday, September 8.

The arrival of Defense Minister Prabowo was greeted directly by Gus Miftah and 1,000 kiyai throughout DIY who seemed enthusiastic about welcoming the chanting of the Prophet Muhammad SAW's prayer.

On the occasion of the chiyai gathering forum throughout DIY, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto expressed his gratitude to the scholars, especially the kiyai who have given their trust, support for prayers in every state activity in the field of Defense. He also highlighted the struggle of the ulama in supporting Indonesia's independence.

On this occasion, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto conveyed his views on national defense and the application of downstreaming as an effort to maintain domestic natural resources to increase added value for the people with a number of commodities, especially nickel and palm oil and other commodities ranging from bauxite to copper and gold.
